Short description of innovation:

The method performs patients and their family members clustering in a family tree according to a set of risk factors to which reference values are applied. As a result, all members up to second grade are identified according to three high, medium, low risk groups. The method was tested on a group of 453 patients and 2868 family members.

The method can be used for early screening of thyroid cancers and for screening strategies development aimed at detecting early carcinomas to reduce morbidity and mortality.
